The Best Photography Gloves

Best Gloves for Photography

A guide gloves for landscape photography.

Even if it’s not winter, when you head out for sunrise or sunset in the mountains or on wild coastline, your hands can get too cold to operate your camera.

After being frustrated by many standard gloves, we started using some specialised ones from the Heat Company. The worst thing about a lot of gloves is not being able to use your camera well with gloves on heat. Heat Gloves are both touchscreen compatible and the larger gloves have fold over fold back sections so you can still use your fingers. Great gloves! They provide warmth and protection from the cold, allowing you to stay comfortable and focus on your creative potential in freezing conditions.

Picking the right glove

The right glove for you depends on the conditions you’ll be shooting in and time of the year so we’ve put together our recommended gloves from the Heat range.

Merino Liner Pro – Great all round glove to have in your camera bag any time of year

Heat 2 Softshell – Great for colder months and can be combined with the liner glove

Heat Shell Glove – For when things get really freezing!
