Richard Young is a fine art landscape photographer whose work explores the raw beauty and emotional depth of the natural world through atmospheric landscapes that invite deep contemplation. Richard’s approach is rooted in personal expression, capturing the essence of place beyond the purely visual. Richard’s landscape-focused work has been widely exhibited and his work has been recognised in prestigious international photography awards. He is a brand ambassador for Epson Printers & Paper and also works with Nikon New Zealand as an official Nikon Creator.

Richard has a passion for teaching photography and works to motivate and inspire people who join his workshops. He has guided groups of photographers in New Zealand since 2010 and founded New Zealand Photography Workshops in 2013.
